LAKE KOKORO
lake kokoro is found deep within the kou forest and is named because of its heart shape. there are many horror stories surrounding lake kokoro, such as a kunoichi who was murdered there and had her heart ripped out so now she tries to steal the hearts of anyone who enters. this of course is just a story, but the area around the lake definitely gives off an eerie vibe. it just feels too quiet. people normally stay away from it.

KOU FOREST
the kou forest is right on the border of hi no kuni and kou no kuni. it was called the kou forest hundreds of years before the founding of kou no kuni and is the reason for the country being called what it is. it's a dangerous forest that higher ranked ninja like to train in, but is not recommended for genin to enter.
